TITLE:

RETURN TO CAIRO

Focus: Evangelism, Discipleship

We envision Back To Cairo as the inaugural film in a series of contemporary adaptations of Jesus's parables. While many North Africans are familiar with the name of Jesus, few are well-versed in his teachings. By re-imagining these timeless parables, we aim to craft compelling narratives that resonate with modern audiences, offering both entertainment and a fresh perspective on biblical truths.

THE FISHERMEN OF MOROCCO

Focus: Education, Prayer, Mobilizing,

People often ask, what does the average Muslim think? This veritè style documentary would bring a real example to questions the average Moroccan would think as he wrestles through life’s questions. We have already made a connection with a fisherman who is excited for this project. He took us out on his boat and shared with us a bit of his life. The goal would be to visit him 3 times over the course of a year, each time spending a few days with him. Sleeping in his house, eating with him, working with him, all while asking him questions about family, faith, and the future.

This video would be used share and educate those who are considering reaching an unreached people group in North Africa.

TITLE:

JESUS’ LOVE COMPELS US

Focus: Prayer, Mobilizing, Encouragement

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”

This video features Dick Brogden, who has lived his whole adult life among unreached people groups, and another who lived among an unreached people group in North Africa for 11 years. This project asks why we go to the unreached. It beautifully paints a picture of North Africa and reveals why it mean to live there, carefully honoring North Africans while being honest about the challenges of Gospel proclamation in a Muslim country.

The grammatical construction of the biblical phrase “the love of Christ compels us” allows  for triple application. It could mean that the love we have for the lost compels us to mission. It could mean that the love we have for Jesus compels us to mission. It could mean that the love Jesus has for the lost compels us to mission. Because the grammatical  construction is flexible, context must help us discern the intended meaning. The first  two options we discard, for we quickly find there are many days we do not love the lost and sadly on some days we do not love Jesus as we ought. Besides, God’s mission is too important to depend on the fickle love of man. The third option is true because only God’s love never wanes and because the text is universal in scope: we persuade men,  Jesus died for all, if anyone is in Christ. How thankful we must be that the motivation for  mission is God’s unfailing love, not man’s fickle, feeble emotion.

TITLE:

Testimony Series

Focus: Evangelism, Prayer, Encouragement

What does it mean to follow Jesus? In North Africa, it almost always involves paying a significant cost. Abandonment by family, lost jobs, lost marriages, even death threats are not uncommon. And yet, Christ continues to call North Africans unto himself.

This project shares the personal journeys of twenty different Jesus followers who come from Muslim backgrounds.

Such testimonies inform and encourage the global church to pray for our brothers and sisters in North Africa. They also teach and inform about living a life of faith under fire.

But perhaps more importantly, Believers from a Muslim Background’ (BMBs) testimonials have a special resonance for other BMB’s who might feel isolated in their communities, as well as Muslims quietly seeking Jesus.

For BMB’s feeling alone, these testimonies act like a lifeline. Hearing someone else articulate a similar journey is a reminder they’re not the only ones grappling with doubt, fear, or the fallout of their choice. It’s as if these narratives whisper, “You’re not alone in this.”

For Muslims seeking Jesus—those curious about Christianity but hesitant to voice it—these stories hit even closer to home. Many may secretly question their faith, drawn to Jesus through dreams, scriptures like the Injil (Gospel), or personal encounters, yet fear the consequences of exploration. MBB testimonials mirror their inner struggles. When an BMB shares how they navigated these waters—perhaps describing how Jesus’ teachings on love or forgiveness spoke to them—it offers a roadmap. It’s relatable proof that others from their background have asked the same questions and found answers worth pursuing.

In essence, these testimonials are beacons for the isolated and the seekers alike. They break the silence, offering solidarity to those isolated in their communities and a relatable spark for Muslims drawn to Jesus, showing that the journey, though costly, is shared by others.

Our intention is to create as many of these videos as possible and upload them to a searchable website for those who are seeking truth may find, and watch.

Budget: $500 per testimonial video

TITLE:

From Cups to Christ

Focus: Mobilizing, Education,

The video aims to bridge the gap between the viewer’s passion for sharing the love of Jesus, and an accessible entry point into an unknown region. By focusing on the universal act of sharing adrink—something relatable to anyone—the video demystifies North African culture, presenting it as warm and inviting rather than distant or intimidating. The vivid imagery of drink preparation and casual conversations, paired with authentic voice-overs from Christians already engaged in this work, offers a tangible, low-pressure model for evangelism that doesn’t require expertise, just a willingness to connect. Highlighting real stories of God’s impact and movement through these simple interactions further inspires viewers, showing them they don’t need extensive knowledge of the region—just a heart for Jesus—to step into a culturally natural opportunity to share their faith, making the call to action both compelling and achievable.
